Extreme Penis Pain, Please help

Hi all. I am wondering if anyone has any insight on what this could be and if anyone else had this kind of symptom. This pain is making my life a living hell and can't even go to work at all.

I am currently experiencing a lot of pain in the penis head starting from a couple weeks ago.

The first sharp stabbing pain comes when I start to urinate. It feels like somewhere underneath the penis head where if you put your finger on that spot during urination, the muscle gets a lot bigger to pass urine. This pain is correlated linearly with how much I urinate and what the stream is. If the stream of urination is good and strong, then the sharp stabbing pain is a lot worse. After urine pass through that area, the sharp pain is gone.

After urination, I have to squeeze and do some intense movement to get the last drop of urine out from urethra. However, I still feel like urine is stuck at the head of the penis and no movement or squeeze or stretches can get that drop out. Then the throbbing pain of penis head begins. The head of the penis is also very sensitive and feel like its cracked kind of feeling (no itching tho), and the whole penis has a stingy kind of intense pain. All these pains here are constant throughout the day and its driving me nuts cuz I'm having trouble even moving around.

I have done urine tests, culture, ultrasounds, and PVR with negative results. I have taken antibiotics prescribed, tylenol and ibuprofen with no help. I do have lower abdomen pain but its manageable. I do not have urgency to urinate, and the urine stream is still strong. It's just the penis pain thats driving me mad. I have this urine stuck feeling for a year now but it has just gotten new symptoms mentioned previously and getting worse about 2 weeks ago. The only thing I changed was taking flomax for 1 week prior, and started cipro 3 days before this worsening pain. I stopped taking them right after the pain. I don't know if anything is related or just could be a coincidence.

I don't drink anything other than water. I do sitz bath and doing CPP stretches and haven't noticed a difference. I don't know what else to do, and feel like the end of the rope.

I think it might be nerve damage from either flomax or cipro. The stingy and stab pain for whole penis is what ticked me off. I can get an erection fine and seems I can ejaculate fine. I'm wondering if low dose Cialis or another variant can help with this sensation.

Not sure if this is the correct sub for it since it overlaps with the pain. Let me know and ill repost to correct sub.

If you made this far, I do appreciate you taking the time to read these.

    Two things come to mind:

Cystoscopy - this procedure performed by a urologist involves viewing the inside of the penis and bladder (and everything in between). This would be useful

Alkalinizer - this is a drug that lowers the acidity of your urine. The less acidic, the less burning when urinating.

I hope this is of some help.

It could be you have prostatitis - there are two versions of this, chronic and acute. If you have it for a long time, it is chronic. There is also such thing as bacterial and abacterial prostatitis (CAP).

There are many cases which I have encountered in etc websites and CAP is very common, and most urologist do not really know what is the underlying issue - they mostly only give etc meds to relieve the symptoms (which will come back or goes up/down at times)

I had it for a very long time and hv tried so many things. There were days when it was constant and there were days when it was just lingering 24/7 at lower intensity.

If you have pain in the penis/shaft or around your genital areas and there is no bacteria found with etc test, it is likely to CAP.

Of course I have tried a lot of things, including those that landed me into hospital (would not mention it) for it is indeed mind shattering if it is 24/7 pain.

A few mths bck I read about how circulation problem is the underlying issue of many health problems, and most of the time, if you have pain, it is due to bad circulation - the prostate is one organ that can have this issue, and when you have bad circulation, bugs can stay there, even etc waste (toxins) produced by bugs or the prostate tissue. Bad circulation also causes pain and it then manifests as etc pain in the genial areas esp the penis tip.

I recently also stumbled on far infra red heat (FIR) pad which is used by many alt therapy doctors - and this pad helps with enhancing circulation. If you google "amethyst heat pad" at amazon, you get many suppliers. The FIR heat penetrates about 2-7 cm from the source, so if one uses it (sit on it) it could theoretically penetrate into the prostate and enhance circulation there. It worked very well for my CAP issue and I use it regularly nowadays. I wished I would have known this solution a few yrs back/at the start of my problem
