Extreme sickness, shakes and sweats. Is this normal on the first day? X

I started taking sertraline yesterday to help my Severe panic attacks and anxiety. I've been up since 1am feeling extremely sick, hot flushes, sweating and shaking. Is it normal to have these side effects so badly and is it worth sticking too? Any advice would be greatly appreciated x

We are told to hang on in there as it's supposed to get worse before it's better.
Hope you feel better soon Hollie x x

I had the same issues with starting up steraline too. It was rough but worth it. I stuck with it and now all the ocd racing thoughts, panic attacks and aniexty are at bay. I enjoy life now. I hope it works for you and smooths out soon. X
