Extreme vertigo and dizziness following fizzle inside head?

Hi all.

About two weeks ago, I was sitting in my kitchen when I felt what I can only describe as a "fizzle" inside my head. It felt like a slight pop and then some sort of fizziness, as if opening a soda. As soon as that happened, I spaced out completely and the room and what was in front of me felt and looked as though it was turning sideways. I couldn't move, but according to my partner I was slightly swaying and just staring into oblivion. All I was aware of was that fizzing sensation and the extreme dizziness as I tried to focus my eyes back on my phone.

Since then, it has been happening more and more frequently. These weird episodes of dizziness and feeling spaced out. Other than the usual hiccup here and there, I would consider myself completely healthy. I'm young, 21 years old, and have rarely taken medication besides some antidepressants a year ago and the occasional nytol once in a while when I struggle to sleep. But i've been feeling drained and tired since that happened, and napping more frequently.

Any help is much appreciated, because its making me worried to leave the house. I havent had one whilst stood up yet, and im worried what will happen if i am stood up. Is it time to call my doctor, or is this just a somewhat normal thing? I dont want to waste my doctors time when they are so busy right now.

Thank you!

Hi, I think you should consider going to the doctor. You are not wasting his time. IF there is something wrong, it's important to know. I don't know what it could be, I'm not a professional or anything so I won't make any guesses. But this doesn't sound 'normal', especially since it's not just from standing up too fast or anything like that. Good luck!
