hello there i have just joined this site and im desperate to talk to someone, December i fell and broke my shoulder and had to have a replacement operation which as you can imagine was the most terrible pain but 6 months along i woke up one day and couldn't hardly walk from back pain, it started in my upper middle back and then mived to my lower back and been there for the last 3 half months, had private osteopath 4 times and has told me its all muscle been doctors they said the same , had xray didn't show anything and I'm waiting for an appointment with msk, now I know muscles can be painful but this pain is just debilitating I can hardly walk wash or do anything, every step I take is excruciating and no painkillers are working if they do anything they just take the edge off for a while which able me to have a wash or walk without screaming, I'm able to sleep of i stay awake till I can't keep my eyes open I've been sleeping on the settee sitting up, to get up of a chair or bed is so painful I'm nearly sick, I just don't know what to do except wait for appointment, I could go to A/E but the thought of that standing or sitting in this pain For hours I just couldn't do, I do hope someone can say they have had the same sort of thing and it does get better what ever it is .

Sorry to hear this. Please have your thyroid gland checked. It is a very easy blood test, looking for your T4 hormone level. Muscle spasm is directly related to the lack of thyroid hormone (T4), and its cure is as simple as taking a supplement for T4. Checkout:
