About on Saturday (11/30) I noticed I had a bump on my right labia. It was painful at first but is now starting to bother me. I noticed that 2 other very small bumps appeared shortly after the first one. It burns a little when I pee and is a little tender. On Monday (12/2) I went to the doctor and found out I had 3 problems: a UTI, yeast infection, and BV (this explains the vaginal discharge I was experiencing as well). I am wondering if these infections can be related to the bumps. My doctor said it does not look like herpes but I'm still worried and wonder if I should go back for more testing (genital herpes swab). On Monday I also got tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea and both came back negative. Still waiting on syphilis and HIV. For the past 4 days I've been putting aquaphor and tea tree oil on it to help the healing and it has been working, still worried if it can be a case of genital herpes. Oh yeah, I also nair/shave my vagina but that was 2 weeks ago, not sure if its ingrown hairs or acne. Someone please help!

Go get the swab before it heals to be absolutely sure. I was also told by an ER doc, my primary care provider, and a dermatologist that my outbreak didn't appear to be HSV. Blood test stated otherwise. Normal to feel devastated with the news, we've all been there. But once the initial shock wears off, most go on about our lives and really don't give it much thought. Personally, mine has had a minimal impact on my life in the year and a half since diagnosis. If your results come back positive, don't put too much thought into it - the stigma of having it is far worse than the actual condition is...

    Hello sweetheart,

I recently went thru the same thing. Did a IGG blood test came back negative and i was excited and thrilled af! However my va-jay-jay was getting worst. Like it got so bad my leg muscle was even tender and it was hard to walk. I went to another ER, they def misdiagnosed me. I finally got to my OB/GYN this past tuesday and he swabbed me and I got news yesterday that it was indeed HSV2. Im writing out to you because i too was worried sick, not eating, constantly googling and trying to compare my outbreak to others. My advise to you is. . . Cry that sh.t out now so IF you have a positive result you can move on because life does not stop. While it is very disappointing and makes you very discombobulated you have to tell yourself that you did not fail and your going to be okay! It is hard to stay positive but educating yourself will make you feel better. i pray that you have negative results and feel free to reach out to me for support because YOU ARE NOT ALONE! CONTINUE TO TELL YOURSELF THIS WILL MAKE YOU STRONGER AND THIS IS A HUGE LESSON TO LOVE YOURSELF. Love & Light!

Just an update on how they are looking 2 days later. It seems like they are starting to get smaller as they heal, no crust from healing. I've only been putting tea tree oil on it to see if it helps. Just wanted to know if this still could possibly resemble herpes or if it resembles someones outbreak. Can someone please help.

it looks similar to my outbreak last month. But maybe it isn't H but if it is its a process to accept it and it may take awhile but things really do get better.
