Extremely tired in the morning

Hi everyone.

I have posted before about anxiety. But for some reason now I wake extremely tired. I can barely use my arms. And it worries me extremely to the point of extreme anxiety like my life is over.

I feel a bit better and more relax in the evening. I suppose that's lucky. I can still walk arround ok though? But at work this week I avoid everything physical. But my job is a builder. So it's impossible. I just pretend to be busy doing other stuff I'm not pulling my weight yet I usually always do and more.  I love my job.  And I'm gonna lose it. Is this just depression or CFs.  Can't see my doc because he laughs at me for not taking anti depressants

I went on a big low carb diet and was wondering maybe that is why I am so tired?

Waking up exhausted and feeling as though we are NOT rested is a common symptom of people who suffer from CFS/ME. Have you been diagnosed with CFS?

I suffer with both anxiety/depression and CFS. There is a huge difference between 2. Before I had CFS, I was energetic most of time and could keep going all day and into the evenings. I also woke up feeling fine and rested.

If you have anxiety, though, I would see about getting it treated. You may end up feeling better. Good luck. KPD

      Hi kpd

Did you first have anxiety then cfs?

I used to have anxiety only no depression. The more I am tired the more depressed I am. My muscles ache I feel weak

Yes, I've suffered with anxiety disorder since I was in my teens and didn't develop CFS until I was 30. The CFS naturally makes you feel even more depressed because he can no longer do the things that you used to do.

There is a new documentary that is coming out about a woman's journey living with CFS/ME. I hope that this documentary brings more awareness to CFS and hope that they can eventually find a way to diagnose and treat it more effectively. For now, many doctors seem to want to treat the depression and the sleep problems and sometimes the pain associated with CFS. Hope this helps. Good luck, KPD
