Shrimpie...your symptoms may be as a result of your IOL surgery.  You need to go back to the surgeon for reassesssment.    You can use Hypromellose drops to help the situation.

Sounds like Dry Eye Syndrome. You need to get some lubricating drops[Hypromellose or Artificial tears] from your chemist/pharmacy and start using them several times per day.   Dont ignore these symptoms or you may end up with damaged corneas.  If you can get some close fitting glasses to cover your eyes when you go outside thats even better.   Look up Blepharitis for some idea of what is going on with your eyes.

If you are constantly staring at computer screens then this will make your eyes worse. Try to cut down your time on them.

Ok thanks for the reply, but I've tried drips and they don't seem to work, also what about the feeling in my forehead?

Basic question Vearafc....have you seen an optician/optometrist to have your eyes tested?  He/she could also give you some advice about possible dry eye and they would also take a good look at the inner eye and retina to make sure all is well there.  That feeling in your forehead could all be part of  what I suspect is dry eye. I have dry eye syndrome and often have this feeling.

Shrimpie.....yes,Hypromellose does contain preservatives. The single use phials of Celluvisc or Carmize dont have preservative. They are a little thicker than Hypromellose.
