Eye blindness in the dark

I was sick over new years and had a really bad headache for 24hrs. A day later we were going to bed and we turned off the lights and my left eye started losing vision and jumped up and ran to my bathroom and turned on the light and my vision came back but it scared me so bad. Since then it has happened to me 4 more times. I have noticed that when I turn off the light my left outer part of my eye sight takes longer to adjust and it gets a weird sensation. I went to the eye doctor and she said everything looks really healthy. Im worried about what is happening. Has anyone else experienced this?

    Hi please go see another ophthalmologist. I lost my eyesight due to trauma. Loss of vision can be caused by many reasons. Only the right doctor with good experience and devices like ultrasound can diagnose your condition. If you are doubtful seek second opinion. It is scary. I'm still waiting for schedule for eye surgery. I'm in Canada.
