Eye color changes

A month ago I noticed my eye color changed, I am so depressed about it, my whole life people were telling me how beautiful my eyes are and how special they are.. I used to have blue-grey eyes, and when I look at old pictures that is the color I used to have, now I have green eyes with a bit of brown color around the pupil and some brown on the iris. I am 17 years old. Any chance my eyes will get back to what they used to be like ? Maybe it because I spent a lot of time exposed to the sun ?

No idea what I should do I wish I could have my eyes back...

Don't be depressed about it.  Are you in the UK?

If you are in the US, I don't know the system there but get your eyes checked by an eye specialist.  I have an eye condition that causes my eye colour to change.  Mine just changes between blues/greys.

    I am under Ophthalmologists

I am sure your eyes will be just as beautiful, whatever colour they are.

Hey first of all, thanks for replying, but I just feel as if something was taken away from me, I mean my eyes were what made me special, everybody kept telling me that. Anyway, if I go see an eye doctor, do you think he could tell me if my eyes had changed, and if there is a chance they will get back to what they used to be like ? My mom keeps saying that they haven't but she is just trying to cheer me up, like, come on, I can see it clearly in the pictures that they had changed.

by the way, is there a chance they changed duo to the fact I was exposed to the sun a lot? And how is it even possible for eyes to change color, you said your eyes change too, do you know what is the reason for it ?

Thanks a lot for your support !

Hi Cameron, my left eye changes colour because I have a condition called Fuchs' Heterochromic Cyclitis, which is a kind of uveitis, which is why you should see a doctor, just to rule this out.

You are only 17, so it is possible that your eyes may change colour because of something like hormones.

As for the sun, I don't know, you would have to ask your doctor that question.

Don't worry & you may well find that your eyes settle down by themselves.

      Good luck
