eye lids wet 24/7

I know I posted some of this already just need to know if anyone is going through the same thing.  I have runny wet eyes all the time.  Been to 5 doctors, specialist, I have plugs, tubs, reconstruction done on my tear ducts, all kinds of medication, some oral.  I have been on steriods so much that it developed cataracts so i had surgery for them.  This has been going on 3 years.  I have been on retasis off and on now i am on my 6th doctor, they keep telling me it is dry eyes, which is hard to explain to my co workers when the eyes run constantly.  I have tried everything and am very very depressed over this, is anyone out there going through the same thing?

Only thing I can suggest is eye lubrication drops---I use Hylo Forte--- every 2 hours. As I understand it, our dry eyes don't have the liquid on them to allow tears to "stick" so they slide off down our faces. I found I had to set an alarm and use the Hylo Forte strictly every 2 hours for it to become effective.

im interested that steroid drops caused cataracts in your eyes. I nagged my dr into prescribing more steroids as I felt desperate but I was thinking cataracts would be a 10 year in the future probability. I'll be more wary of using them now.

thank you for responding to me, i thought i was the only one out there.  yes steroids can cause cataracts if you take them to long and that is the first thing every doctor i went to put me on.  i was and still am a mess.  i am back on steriod drops due to the fact that i am prone to eye infections and i get the mucus so very bad.  i have never tried hylo forte eye drops i saw they have many different kinds which ones are you on? and can i buy them at walgreens, and last can i take them with the resasis ?

I get the Hylo Forte on prescription. There's loads of artificial tears you can buy over the counter but these have worked best for me. Last day of 2 weeks of steroid drops tomorrow and I'm desperately hoping my eyes don't flare up again. It's been nice to have normal looking eyes for the past 10 days! The red, bloodshot, weepy eyes isn't a good look.
