Sometimes when I am in bed or waking up in the morning My right eye won't quite open until I press near it. I had a cateract operation a couple of years ago followed by a serious infection which required an injection streroid pills and drops. I wonder if its an eye muscle problem

The most common reason for your lid not opening properly on awakening is usually dryness. If the eye gets overly dry the inner lining of the lid can stick down when you try to open it.
