Eye problems- blepharitis or allergy?

Hi,

I've had some problems with my eyes since early december. I had eyelash extensions since June and had to get them removed because it seemed i had an allergic reaction to the glue. After getting them removed, they stayed swollen for two ish weeks- i took an oral steroid and that seemed to bring down the swelling, but sometimes it would get inflamed again. (also during this time, 8 tried many blepharitis treatments that just further irritated my eyes- tea tree wash, ocusoft wipes, coconut oil, baby shampoo). Went to an optometrist who said i looked okay. Next I went to a dermatologist and she seemed pretty sure it's an adhesive allergy that i didnt take enough steroids to knock out the inflammatory response. i got a shot in the butt, wore makeup all weekend, and seem okay today- no swelling or redness. Am i in the clear or should i still consult an eyelid specialist?

thank you!

I agree with the dermatologist, its a temporary issue that steroids can solve. If things are better for you over time, then i am sure you will be in the all clear sooner or later, let time heal.
