I've been diagnosed with IBS, which was suspected as IBD, however following a Colonoscopy with biopsies taken which all came back clear and IBD was ruled out. I've been experiencing a flare up for about the last week, which all started with my bowels going into total spasm, so bad that I could see the spasms on my body. Since then my right eye has inflamed, become red and the eyelid looks lumpy, almost like I have developed stye's. It also feels irritated and itchy, but my left eye is fine which I find strange. I also seem to get spottier all over my body. My eye always has sense of feeling irritated and looks more red than the other. Guaranteed that once the flare up subsides my eye will start to improve.

It does seem IBS can cause eye irritation, although even though the CT scan you had showed no signs of IBD, microscopic IBD could still be present, hence why biopsies are taken during a colonoscopy, biopsies give a more accurate result. Although viewing the lining of the intestines via a CT or MRI scan should give a good idea if inflammation has occurred, but again that depends on how long the inflammation has been going on, long term inflammation will be easier to detect that short term.
