eye spining and md

Hi im new on here , ive had md variant for about two years now . Just wondering if anyone has had rapid eye spinning that you can't control when having an attack , any tips on controling it

    Lynn,

    That is part of what makes you sick. You cannot control it until the attack ends. Your eyes spin, making the room spin(vertigo). I sometimes feel like my brain is rolling too. I know it's not.

    I used to get that. It took some effort but I would force myself to look at a fixed point or cross my eyes. Granted my attacks were not usually severe. Maybe just the act of forcing myself to do it took my mind away enough to help ride it out. Who knows? I haven't had them that badly for a while.

    Try looking in the opposite direction to the direction of spinning.  This might reduce it.

    Yes, I am new to this sight as well. Lying down helps with eyes closed and room dark. Meclozine is the med for motion sickness that helps but puts you to sleep for a little while. I want to tell all of you I had a 3 year remission and it just returned in Nov. Don't drive, please. When these attaches happen we have no control. Lost a friend this way don't be statistic. Please.
