Eye topic - "Looking" for some insight

Hi everyone, and thank you for your time. I'm just curious about the color of my eyes and what it means. As long as I can remember I've always had a very unique eye color with patterns that are always there but some days it can be more of a blue than green or more green than blue and always been "speckled" with brown if you will. I've always gotten compliments about how "beautiful" my eyes are but I randomly decided to Google it and the results were mostly concerning. Just wondering if anyone can describe what this is. My 5 year old son has similar but not nearly as dominant as mine.

    Have you ever looked at your parents eyes? Maybe you have inherited these colours from them. The colour of your eyes in most cases is all about genetics. Your son has inherited your eye colours.

    If you are really concerned pay a visit to an optician who can give you some reassurance.
