Whenever I have experienced this its either due to lack of sleep, tiredness or extreme stress,or both.Get rid of those causes and the twitch usually goes as well.

      Hello Marina,

Thanks for replying to my thread. My twitching has been at least near to 2 weeks now and still twitching. My lids are not twitching but my eye area is. I have never drink any coffee or such. This twitching causes my anxiety to rise. Could it be other underlying problems?

If your actual eyes are twitching then its something connected to the eye muscles, so if you are convinced its your eye then see your optician.

Many people say its their eye when in fact its the tiny muscles around the eye,but not necessarily the eyelid.

Do you spend a lot of time using screens? If you think you do then cut back, especially in the evening before bed.

      Hello Marina,

The twitching started randomly and yes I spent lot of time using screens. Recently just had diarrhea which worsen my eye twitching. I feel as if there is something stuck there when i tried to extend my jaw. Why would it becomes worst if I look down or extend my jaw? It has the fluttering twitching feelings.

      Thanks!
