Eyelid pain

My friend in Mar & aug 21 had went for 2 plasma eyelid lift treatment. This treatment is non-invasion and it involves delivering high heat nitrogen gas directly into the eyelid to stipulate collagen to tighten and lift the eyelid. In the weeks following the procedure, she experienced sticky discharge from the eyes and subsequently had severe dry eyes and constant inflammation of the eyes. With the prolonged severe dry eyes, it has resulted in cornea nerve damage and also lead to twitching of eyelids. She also suffered excruciating pain on her eyelid and she is unable to open her eyes at all times. What could have caused the persistent excruciating eyelid pain? Is there any way to alleviate this pain or what can be done to help her current situation.
