Eyelids twitching long time.

Hey everyone, I wrote here a couple of weeks ago about my neurological symptoms, searching for reassurance that it is just anxiety as it lasts for years.

But one thing that is making me go really crazy is eyelids twitching. For a couple of years my eyelid would twitch from time to time lasting a week or little longer. But now, my BOTH eyelids are twitching for more than a month and they are twitching often every day. I feel twitching start after I blink, or when I am more nervous than usually, but it occurs every day, many times during the day, and last more than a month now without free day.

This is making me terrified that something is wrong with me and some neurological condition is progressing and that is why twitching does not go on. I have other symptoms as well, and I wrote about them, but this one is making me crazy and I must ask you if any of you had eyelids twitching lasting this long from anxiety?

I really hope I will get answers from you because I will go crazy from this fear of diseases, they are twitching insanely and making me so anxious.

Hope to hear soon from someone!

Thank you!

Regards!

i’ve had eye twitching on and off for many years.it’s due to my anxiety. Nothing to worry about. it’s not related to a neurological condition., Otherwise I would have it by now.for your peace of mind you can always visit a neurologist so that you can relax about it.you’re gonna be OK

Yep been dealing with it for over a year. I definitely notice an increase in symptoms when my anxiety is high. Sometimes its one eye and sometimes its both eyes. I also have it in other places on my body as well.
