Eyes feel weird - feel dizzy. Normal for inner ear?

Hey all,

I've had this for a while and it's one of my bigger complaints. Is this part of having inner ear issues?

My eyes don't focus very well and I'm very sensitive to light. Patterns make it worse and so does staring at a phone or computer. It makes me feel confused (like brain fog) and just almost as if things aren't real. I think this is the worst feeling of them all.

Am I the only one that experiences this or is this to be expected?

I was dx w Ménière's as of 06/16

Hi I don't have your diagnosis but from what I've read many people including myself get these feelings..like you describe. Make sure you mention it as a priority however at your next consultation.

    I hope you feel better.

    Best wishes claire

I've had similar eye problems.  Sometimes I can lose my vision (it goes very fuzzy) depending on the conditions around me.  I went to my eye doctor and one of my eyes has turned out - damage from the virus.  I've gone through two new pairs of glasses to get to where I am now.  My sight is much improved, but I do still get fuzzy vision going from close work to trying to focus on things farther away.  I know if I relax the vision will improve.  Something I just have to live with now.  Maybe see if glasses can be a help.

I had kinda the same thing. I was having double vision in addition to blurry/cloudy vision. I would wake up dizzy or lightheaded everyday. Whenever i would fall asleep even sitting up didn't matter when I got dizzy. Even during regular daytime life but mostly when i woke up, anyway turns out I had an astigmatism in bith eyes. Went to the eye doctor and got glasses. They do help with the blurry vision but not always with the double vision but I noticed that when I start to get dizzy if I put them on it will help a lot. If I were you I would start with an eye exam, while it did not fix everything for me, it's a start.

Thank you. I've been to the opthalmologist twice and he said there's nothing wrong. And I do wear glasses already.

      Ugh this is frustrating lol

I never found an exact reason but I think yours may have to do with your video games. Ive heard that playing them for long periods can cause dizziness and those weird feelings we feel.

In the dark makes it worse for me. Maybe the games are giving you slight migraines.
