Face help.

Hi all, I hope you’re all well. I’m just after some advice/help. I’m just wondering if anyone knows why my face becomes so dry and red like the pictures. I’ve been to the doctors and they wasn’t too sure, they gave me some hydrocortisone, which cleared it, but it returned after I stopped using it. I was then given some terbinafine hydrochloride, which wasn’t as good and made my skin a bit itchy. This led to me being fed up and not returning back to the doctors, because I felt they didn’t know. I noticed a while back, that whey protein made it bad, so I stopped that. I’ve cut milk and cheese out of my diet, but it’s still bad. I’ve been using honey, which kind of makes it a bit better, I hadn’t been using any recently and I went for a run the other day in the rain and it’s made it even worse.

Any help I’m thankful for.

Hi Andy it looks like Rosacea. Try to avoid cheese, spicy and curried foods, stress, and alcohol. Sunlight can be a trigger as well. I have sent you a private message. Hope you get some relief.

thank you for the reply. I have a lot of stress from work and with this happening to my face its making my stress worse. I haven't any alcohol since around January. I work out doors, so I’m always around sunlight, but when I put sun cream on, it can make it worse.
