Sometimes during the day may Face becomes really wet and it is difficult to work as other people notice this. Does anyone know how to make this easier to cope with?

Hi Liz - i don't know what the other ladies do, and hope you get replies hereon. I drink lots of ice water should I start sweating. I carry a damp cloth with me as well and will put it over my neck area just to "cool" down. If people judge you for this, laugh it off and tell them you are going through a new cycle in your life and you do not feel ashamed. This is part of the human anatomy and when they get older they too will have to endure this. There are medication to help with the hot flashes and sweating - you can visit your GP and discuss options.

Hi Liz I understand this problem very well, I even tried taking a little handheld  fan everywhere. Its horrid having your make up running down your face seconds after you apply it, t5hats when you manage to apply it. I went to doctor who gave me HRT single tablet, as had hysterectomy yrs ago. Ive been taking it now for nearly 4 months and the sweating has stopped by 97% . I hope you manage to get it sorted

    take care carol

Hi Liz, this happened to me, not nice embarrassing even though it cannot be helped. I saw my GP as was happening quite often, I was put on HRT. It stopped the sweating, I still get a little hot when cooking .. that's fine I haven't looked back. Have a chat with your GP good luck.
