Facial sweating after eating sugary/salty foods, drinking alcohol and being near animals

Hi!

ok this is a strange one. my partner gets facial flushing (red and perspiring skin across his nose and cheeks) after eating sugary or salty foods, drinking alcohol (this one happens the day after), putting aftershave, hair product or moisturiser on, and even sometimes after spending time with a pet.

has anybody else ever experienced this, or have any idea what it could be?

Thanks

Beth

It sounds as though your partner has a high sensitivity/intolerance to the things you have mentioned. So best to note when he gets a reaction and try to keep away from these things.

Regarding alcohol flushing, this can be a sign that his liver is unable to process alcohol adequately. He needs to cut down and find a level where he doesnt get flushing. Has he had his blood pressure taken recently?
