Faintness

Can a infection make u feel faint? I got collapsed nose, sinuis filled and got cysts and a hole in soft palate, been referred by my ent surgeon to royal national ear nose throat hosp as complex, I should go a n e but they don't no what to do ( no fault of there's) it's cos specialists and complex but I am getting worse and feeling faint

    yep an infection can make you faint - I was rushed to hospital a&e Wednesday because I fainted while at work. I don't even have a referral yet and I'm in a bad way also. a&e did a CT scan and blood test. then I was sent out again with some pain killers. this is going into the 5th week - I dunno how I'm going to hold my job down with this

      Thanks for your reply, hope yr feeling better, didn't they give u any antibotics? I am feeling terrible, being sick and haven't been a wee in 24 hours, been on so many antibotics but they don't work, steroids normally help but haven't lately, need my appointment to hurry for royal national ent hosp, I have never felt so poorly

    yes was given more antibiotics after going to a&e again (twice in 1 week ) in my home town as opposed to work - the dr examined me and believes its a skin infection that's pushing on my eye and sinus - causing me to have sinus infection type dizziness/fainting and headaches - so I got an antibiotic for skin infection that's basically around my eye and sinus - I just hope it works. Hope you are feeling better
