Faith

hi,

i hope no one will be offended but I just wanted to say I am a Christian and this time at the moment has tested my faith. I still believe God is who he says he is and that he will help me if not cure me.

I am off the morphine at the moment and taking codeine phosphate only which doesn't let me do as much. Am definitely stiffer.

am taking mefernemic acid and amytriptyline and paracetemol.

i struggle with not being able to do things and am terrified of going back to my work on Tuesday albiet only for 3 hours.

Can I also ask is LDN available in the UK?

Hello Minnie- Nothing wrong with being a christian, been thinking of joining the local church myself people will probably speak to me there. I take oramorph, been on it now for three years. Its ok, takes the edge off. Tried no end of pain relief, nothing else works.

Anne, I really hope you do go to a church..you should find very caring and loving people there...who will love you unconditionally...unfortunately sometimes people get a bad experience at church...usually from just one person..but that is just  that person...,that does not show you the real church family...I hope you don't experience that but...remembering that a church is just filled with people like you and me...who believe in a God, His son Jesus  and their home Heaven etc...etc,,,you will find such grace--undeserved favour,-a free gift,  one you could never ever earn and much unconditional love..please give it a try...there are so many people who don't believe in God..that say " of course I'm going to heaven when I die" I'm a good person....sadly though, they choose not to believe..also many say that all paths lead them to heaven...mm..such bad teaching that is...earth is a Christians temporal home..heaven is where we will dwell..no pain  etc..etc..yay..eventually.......God owns heaven..and the only way to God is through-( believing) His only Son  Jesus Christ....the Bible makes that very very clear..please do yourself a really good favour..get connected.,you will love it.,it's very sad that you have to go to church to be spoken to as well...I'm feeling very excited for you..just considering it Anne, well done you..have a lovely day..,be blessed..:-) xxx

So Christine-how do you connect to God? Don't know what I have done here on earth,no one wants to connect to me!

Poor you Anne, I definitely would connect with you if I lived nearer to you......going to church is the best thing ever and the first step..it's there, you will probably be asked if you want to connect to God...if your not asked, then just ask the pastor  or reverend or whoever and they will just be delighted to show you how....please please let  me know how you go...you can always make it a private message if you prefer by hitting the envelope near my name...be blessed Anne..I will be praying fir you...:-) xxx you have heaps of new friends just waiting for you for sure..:-) xxrazz

    Hi Minnie

I always remember the little chorus we used to sing at Sunday school

Come into my heart Lord Jesus

    Come in today

    Come in to stay

Come into my heart Lord Jesus

simple  as and you'll never feel lonely again, going to church is a great thing too as you'll meet loads off new friends Hope you find in Jesus the unconditional love and the connection  your yearning for. Wished to that I could just give you a big hug but here's a huge one from my fingertips

    Hugggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg xx
