Fake symptoms with health anxiety?

Hello everyone,

I've been dealing with anxiety and health anxiety for the past month and a half.

is it regular with health anxiety to make up symptoms?

After reading online and having a Doctor tell me brain cancer can affect one side of the body I've had this notion that something is off in my left arms and legs.

I can feel no physical weakness, physical differences, or balance issues to my left I just feel like something is off and it's worrying me.

I was feeling as if almost my left arm was weak and tingley sometimes with minor pins and needles but that went away as I've read this is a common feeling with anxiety after posting here.

I did pushups and curls with both arms to make sure they weren't actually weak which they weren't.

Is this normal with health anxiety?

Constantly worried I have some terminal illness...

This is exactly what health anxiety is. You put an illness in your mind and you start experiencing the symptoms. Your mind is really powerful you have no idea. Don't worry, I've experienced these symptoms as well and they're gone now, I'm on a whole new wave of symptoms lol.

Thanks for helping on both of my posts!

This was that other symptom I was talking about.

Just so hard to believe I can have these issues from just long term anxiety...

      The reassurance certainly helps tho.

That's the big problem for me too . Beside heart palpitations

Have headaches for long time , always on a left side .

At one point I saw a specialist , and he told me it's a sinus infection .

After medication , pain were gone for a few weeks , and reaper again .

If I don't feel pain for a few days I'm happy . But not for long 😕

Many times I think also , must be something serious .

Hope You feel better ! X Donna

Then , it looks , that we have to accept it's another anxiety symptom .

I hope You are feeling better soon .

We are here , please let us
