The racing heart is a classic sensation of anxiety. even though it feels weird and scary, it will not hurt you. It’s the adrenaline that is released that is causing this to happen. When I get that what I do is use my breathing techniques that reduce my heart rate so that I can relax. You can find many of these on YouTube. Proper breathing is key!

that should calm down everything including the shaking.

another thing that really calms me down are the soothing meditation for anxiety. I listen to these as I’m laying down to sleep. If I happen to wake up in the middle of the night I play them again.

you’re gonna be okay! You are definitely not alone there’s millions of people go through the same thing all the time. Have a great night!

i i’ve woken up many times with a racing heart and for me it’s the adrenaline that does that. Even if I’m sleeping. I get my regular physical check ups and my heart is in very good shape. And have you had a regular physical check up recently? That would most likely ease your mind. But my gut is telling me that it’s most likely anxiety. just do whatever eases your mind. you’re going to be OK!
