Falling post ankle ORIF

Hey so I've just got out of hospital which I had surgery for a trimalleor fracture on my left ankle I'm 4 days post OP and the pain was starting to calm down but i had a small fall trying to close the fridge as I closed it and went to put the crutch back under me I lost balance and kind of hit the wall and put most my weight on the toe side of cast. the ankle now hurts a good bit more and I'm really worried if I've done any damage considering it's only been 4 days I dont know what to do

    Have you called your surgeon about what happened? This should be the very first thing you do!! I'm sure it will be Ok but you are so recent out of surgery that you should at least call and they may do an X-ray.
