I did retinal detachment operation 8 weeks ago and I do experience this ceiling fan movement on the corner on my eye . How long does this effect would stay ?

I had a scleral buckle fitted for retinal detachment 8wks ago. the detachment was at the bottom outer corner of my left eye, I experience a shadowy fan in my peripheral in the inner top corner of my eye. I experienced this before my op, only had it on a couple of occasions since.
Hows it doing now.
