Thanks to all those of you who gave me support and help when I needed it. I'm now 4wks post-op and flying high. Cannot believe how rapid my recovery has been. I know I am VERY lucky as it is different for each of us. As a consequence, I am signing off now but I know I can come back if I ever need to.

Go well and stay well...
I'm personally staying till 12 weeks here...cos I think my journey back to health at 8 weeks is not complete. I also want to be there for sharing with new folk.
That said...do come back anytime...will miss you!

Like you I'm just over 8 weeks and don't feel ready to say I'm fully recovered so will be staying here for some time yet, not least that I am due the right hip replaced, but also that I could maybe offer some advice/reassurance to others who have either been through, or are about to go through, the same as I did.
Its all about giving something back in my opinion.
