PLEASE can someone tell me that they have fasiculations in their calves almost constantly due to their anxiety? And scattered ones elsewhere in their body? Because they are SEVERE! And I feel like ALS or something sinister is causing them.

Also sharp sharp sickly shooting pains in feet and wrists?

I genuinely believe I won't be here much longer. I feel so so so weird and Ill and I don't even feel anxious. rolleyes sad

rhianna you need to see a neurologist about this. Anxety does not cause fasiculations but some drugs do and can also cause peripheral neuropathy. Mind my asking what meds you are taking or have taken even years ago?

If the drugs are responsible the dr may discontinue them.

    Thanks.

But the doctors have told me stress is the cause. And they've appeared since a traumatic time in my life. :S and that's 4 different docs. So what makes you say that? I had them last year when I was stressed also xx

I do not know what to say . All I know is that some medications can cause fasiculations. Obviously you know what meds you have been or are taking.

Anxiety doesnt kill you. It makes you suffer. What have the doctors suggested to help you? Its not ALS. Have you considered regular massages. Many nail salons have people that give them at very reasonable rates. Maybe consider a chiro as well.  And id say start walking a lot and cardio or yoga to get everything moving about.
