80-90 heart rate is not too fast. many people have that as their regular heart rate. Even 115 to 120 is nothing dangerous. That is extremely common when people have anxiety. Some people with severe anxiety can have a heart rate close to 200. If your heart is healthy which it sounds like it is, a fast heart rate is not going to hurt it.
your rapid heart rate is due to anxiety and adrenaline that is released. It eventually wears down. Nothing bad is going to happen. If you want to learn how to bring down your heart rate, it’s essential that you learn proper breathing with anxiety. There are many great short meditations on YouTube for proper breathing with anxiety.
just remember that the more anxious you are, the higher your heart rate will be so it’s important to relax as much as you can. Check out the meditations on YouTube and you’ll see how they can really calm you down as well as your heart rate. Take care

there’s a great short talk on YouTube where she guides you through the anxiety and your heart rate will definitely come down.
Search for something called stop panic attack now, then scroll down to one called don’t panic. It’s in black letters. You don’t have to be panicking to listen to this but it will definitely lower your heart rate. It’s only about five minutes long or so but it really works! ❤

Hi my heart rate has been over 100-145 the last week. Its made me feel funny with likre waves going across my body. I have been constantly checking it every few mins. Im terrified im going to die. Ive bin to docs three times this week and had two ecgs. But apart from it being fast they say nothings wrong and that its anxiety. Im so low at the moment just want it to settle down. I feel your pain but if mine was 80 i would be happy.

This is, wat is happening to me to. I have bin sitting still and keep checking it. If it comes down a bit i can relax but its very short lived. Im not eating well as im so screwed up i worry its my heart and that surely it shouldnt beat so fast for a whole week. Its scaring me to death. Doctors done 2 ecgs and say its anxiety but normally my heart rate is ok before this. Its drivi g me mad im exhausted to. Just need a break
