Hi all
Has anyone tried this diet for LPR or GERD and has it made a difference? I've just got the book and app but finding it a little hard to get my head around, especially translating some of it into foods we know in the UK.

Hi.
I too bought a book.
The " Acid Watcher Diet"
It looked very promising.
Then both my wife and I struggled to interprete it and put into action.
We haven't given up but feel knocked back right now

It's hard isn't it Mike. It also seems that one diet works for some people but not others and vice versa!
I had some success with the Dropping Acid book but the more i read into LPR it seems that it might not be the acid foods but foods that ferment in your gut which cause gas and then that pushes the acid up.
Wish there was a magic pill that could make it all stop!

I order a book on Amazon by Dr. Jamie Koufman titled Dr Koufman's Acid Reflux Diet...it's a really great book and came highly recommended. I have not followed it yet as I am repairing from a bout of diverticulitis which the GERD appears to not be helping so I have to get serious. I am on a low residue diet for two weeks after being on liquids for 10 days and will follow this book once I have the low residue diet under my belt.

I had another one of her books called Dropping Acid and it did help for sure. Didn't completely stop my symptoms but gave me days when it didn't bother me which was a blessing! The problem i had was sticking to it for a long time as it was quite restricting but then any diet cutting out things that cause problems is going to be i guess
