Fasting

I started fasting , but i consume about 400 calories a day because i read that consuming nothing changes your body to consume energy in another way and after fasting you will easily gain weight again.

what i want to know is should i consume zero calories and just the week after my fast eat salads for my metabolism to get back in. Or will my 400 calories help in anyway so that i can eat normally again after my fast , healthy normal including meats.

thanks

I do not think so. I think its good to have a eating routine, once you stop fasting it will be hard for the body to adjust to new eating styles. You have to have a calorie intake routine, although fasting will decrease eating habits, and also will cause weight to go down, depending on how much you decide to eat during the fast.
