Fatigue , vertigo ..

Hi everybody,

The main reason for this post is hopefully finding people with the same symptoms and general advice on possible diagnostic options.

I've been feeling unwell periodically for the last seven years. The first period of feeling off was after a molar pregancy and i wrote it off to hormones and stress/grief. I suddenly was very tired after minimal exercise, got dizzy and had heavy legs. This lasted for about 6 months and varied througout the day. I was referred to a cardiologist because i also was tachycardic but everything was fine. I gradually felt better, focused on my mental health, started a new career,.. During the last seven years the periods of extreme fatigue returned but no longer correlated with stressfull periods and i started making alterations to my daily life (less intense exercise, stopping social activities, working parttime,..). Things really snowballed and i'm feeling really limited in my abilities. In the past i had a B12 deficiancy and hoped supplementing would suffice.

Right now, I can't keep up with household chores, can't dance a whole song, can't play in the garden with my daughter because my body is too tired. Not constant but througout the day i suffer from bouts of extreme fatigue. It feels like a weighted blanket is dropped on top of me. Some days are ok, other days i can barely walk across a room.

Because i don't exercise anymore, my overall stamina dropped. I also have dizzy spells, not always related to exercise. They can last from 10 minutes to several hours. Sometimes it feels like a fog, sometimes it's a spinning sensation.

Last month i started having scary episodes of not being able to walk. It felt like being pulled to the ground and was very scary.

Other symptoms possibly related: agitation, feeling lost in crowded or loud places, memory problems and trouble multitasking,. tachycardia, restless leggs syndrome.

Because i also have periods when things go better, i tend to minimalise symptoms and hope they blow over.

I say to m yself i'm just in bad shape or.focus to much on the symptoms.

I am starting to realise that is not the case and i'm just making things worse.

, . Since May i really started looking for help. I go to physiotherapy for breathing,. relaxation and regaining physical abilities, but the symptoms do not subside. I feel so limited and frustrated. On work days, i am to tired to cook, clean or do something fun. The days i'm off i can do the bare minimum. I have to spread chores and activities througout the week to make it doable. I went to the GP and am being reffered for balance testing with the nose-ear/throat specialist. She also mentioned neurological testing and chronic fatigue syndrome.

She also mentioned that i might not get answers and that she can't promise a diagnosis.

I hope i can get answers and a treatment plan so i can regain some abilities.

I am only 34 years old and still have so many dreams and plans.
