The more fatty food you eat the more chance you'll have of unfortunate bottom / toilet accidents (you'll poo fat diarrhea) cheesygrin

Hi Benny, i think i would be prepared for that if i lost weight rapidly ? thanks for your reply smile

No you won't lose weight any faster by eating the same old fatty stuff, you'll probably just get (at least) gut ache, wind and flatulence,, you should aim for eating about 30 g of fat a day (I think) and losing up to a Kg a week. Losing weight quickly isn't the best way, losing weight slowly gives your skin time to bounce back (and not end up hanging off you in folds) smile

No that is wrong you take them with a low fat diet not with a diet full of fat.

Hi @BigC thankyou smile typical day is shreddies for Breakfat then if i am hungry at lunch i might have rice cakes or soup dinner is quorn with jacket potato or rice and veg i only drink alpro milk or soy yogurts/desserts they are 2.3g fat per pot and are really nice you can keep them in the cupboard the chocolate one are lovley i eat fruit as a snack erm i used to eat meat which i used to get ainsburys lean steak 3g fat per piece or vension but i just stick to quorn now. Sainsburys do a BGTY Gammon joint which is 2g of fat per 100g i believe i used to have that. When i have a salad i literally fill the plate with salad and it's not boring i buy all different ones i have that with a jacket potato or rice and hm coleslaw/gherkins/beetroot salad etc i subsitute mayo for non fat yogurt. i used to be obsesed with mayo now it makes me heave Sometimes i make a hm curry.basiczally everyday meal really but using quorn instead of meat oh yes i have alpro hazelnut milk on my shreddies it makes it taste like whole nut chocolate without the fat!

I used to buy laughing cow light but i don't like it anymore tastes like plastic to me but you might like it

what do you eat? i also eat cous cous baked beans a lot of veg i stopped eating muller lights because of the sugar content and switched to alpro iand i make my own smoothies and frozen yogurt when i can be bothered!

i drink anywhere between 6/8 litres of water a day which helps

      x

treats are ww puddings (sponge ones) or yoomoo frozen yogurt

      Morning Britney,

My diet is very poor. I dont like any sort of milk so thats a no no. I have never tried qourn but i will. I eat steak, mince, indian curries and burgers which im hoping to cut out all of these (well i might have an indian as a treat once in a while).I've started buying marks and spencers feel full longer meals which are ok. I am buying a lot of strawberries and reaspberries, granola and greek yoghurt.I do like cous cous so that will also be bought. I bought water yesterday and lemon so im going to really make an effort and start drinking it. I was very ill last year so i really want to have a life change i have also split up with a partner after 15 years so this is my time now smile

      Evenig bigc smile

I believe Granola is quite high in fat?! is it under the 5g? make sure the yogurt is either fat free or no more than 2/3g per 100g you dont want to waste fat on yogurt. If you do have a treat that is not in the 'rules' your going to get the side effects unless you stop taking them 48 hours before then 48 hours after you have the takeaway. Sainsburys do  lean steak 2.3g fat per steak you get 4 in the pack. Do you make a lot of homemade things as i notice you aid you bought ready meals which is fine as long as they are 5g per 100g. Good for you making time for yourself believe me my life has changed since i lost all this weight. I love cous cous too i make it up with a stock cube then add diced tomato cucumber red onion coriander etc and have either on its own or with quorn fillets and have yogurt mixed with sweet chili sauce on top sorry for the ramble lol x

      Hi BigC smile

aw thankyou i said to myself i would always help others once i knew how thee tablets worked a i got no support at all from another forum (not this website) so i read labels etc then picked this website to see if i could help others who were unsure of what to eat etc like i was.

As dar as i know granola is high in fat yeah everyone seems to think it's healthy it's not (the ones i have seen anyway!) a bit like those graze boxes people buy (no idea why!) and they think these are healthy snacks they aren't they are loaded with fat. You can have certain bacon trim the fat off the weight watchers bacon is about 2g for the whole packet i think or a bit more. Aww that's nice she rbings you soup if you aren't up to cooking could she make you maybe a couple of meals to freeze?

Butter is too high in fat and you must only cook with cooking spray.

You can have a fried breakfast if you pick the right foods and fry it all in fryligh spray i sometimes do this but obviously using quorn for the sausages but there are pork sausages which are low in fat and i'm afraid yes you are going to have to cook! of course you can live off low fat ready meals but they don't fill you up really or maybe i'm just greedy :D x

HI BRITNEYthanks so much it really is appreciated.I am going to really try and make an effort as i am sure i can do it and its great the compliments i am getting already but i want to really look fab at 60 sad so i am going to put more effort in. I really thought with the tablets i could cheat a little because if you are not really eating things that are fatty why take the tablets ?? i really am a bit confused there. xxx

Hi Bigc your welcome no problem oh yeah the compliments are good for a boost! someone else on this website just asked me the same question! i said i didn't know the answer but from what i have heard those who continue to eat high fat either stay the same or gain weight so i guess that's your answer. It will be interesting to see what my weight loss will be when i come off wether i will still lose at the same rate although i think for every 1b you lose the tablets help you lose up to lose an extra 2lb on top of that i believe hope your ok and having a good day x ps: how's the cooking going ?

MORNING Britney, i havnt actually cooked anythin as busy weekend with my grandkids smile but i did buy olads of salad stuff, prawns marinated in lime juice chilli powder and garlic  (lovely) that i served with salad. I took the time out as well to ensure the granola i bought had the lowest fat content (there was a lot of difference in some) and i bought fat free yoghurt so i am definitely becoming more aware of what i am now buying. Big prob now is when im out trying to find something to eat that is not high fat but that will be next big step i take. thanks so much once again for supporting me and hope you too are feeling great xxxx
