Fatty Liver

Hi has anyone experienced having a Scan to then being told they have a fatty liver. Yes i am overweight and type 2 diabetic but am trying to do something about this. I have heard this can be reversed by exercise and weight loss I am off to see the liver specialist and am concerned about being told to have a liver biopsy. would be grateful for any info cheers
