Fear of anal fissure coming back to it's extreme.

Hello all!, I'm new here. I was diagnosed about 2 months ago with 2 anal fissures. I was hospitalized because the pain was so unbearable, couldn't walk, talk, sit, laugh, cough or anything for that matter without it hurting like hell. The doctors prescribed me with Lidocaine to numb it, and diltiazem. I rested and kept clean in all areas (my body). It eventually went away in a few weeks, well I thought.
I was away from work for 8 months for different reasons and just got back, and my job is in the service industry which requires a lot of walking, I think I overworked myself, I did 4 straight 8 hour shifts. I believe the fissure got irritated from walking so so so much, maybe was the tight pants I was wearing as well, and I should have kept myself a little cleaner.
It's just an itch now (anus, inside of top legs and genital area) and a little hard to pass gas sometimes. Poops are fine, a little blood here and there sometimes as well, not much... definitely not as worse as before. I'm so scared of it coming back to full extreme, and trying my best to maintain. I'm still taking the medications, sitz baths, and I'm not going to be working 4 days in a row anymore. Eating a healthy high fibre diet, and drinking loads of water.
What else can I do to help it ease more?, maybe rest and not move to much the next couple of days?. Fissures are the worst thing, so annoying!.
Thanks for listening, and may us all heal from this piece of crap cut called a "fissure".
Blessings to all!..

Sorry to disappoint you but mines been going on for over 12 mth it has improved like you I was in agony when it started
I use a cream called rectagesic prescribed by doctors and pain killers
I'm new here today too and have earlier posted my story hoping for a bit of light at the end of the tunnel
Having spent several days reading up on this a few people recommend bio oil massaged up your anus to help heal and lubricate.
I also take as in swallow castor oil to help keep my stools soft.
Women seem to get them quite regular during childbirth there are a few forums on here and they all seem to get the option of surgery or botox to help relax the muscle of the anus so it has time to heal but this sounds equally as painful anb causes temporary incontinence .Hope some of this info you find helpful
If you hear of a miracle please let me know
