Fear of something being wrong

Years ago I was on this forum and it was so helpful for me and my severe anxiety. It eventually got better and I was living my life again. Fast forward to now and I'm struggling now more than ever. I've been freaking out thinking something is wrong with my heart because of heart palpitations... but I know it's probably just because of my increased anxiety. I'm also doing this thing where I hold my breath without even realizing it. Scares the hell out of me cause I obviously end up gasping for air and thinking what the heck. Some nights when I am trying to sleep I'll close my eyes and minutes later gasping for air. I also struggle with asthma so that doesn't help when anxiety already makes me feel like I can't breathe. No matter how much I tell myself all of this is from anxiety my mind tells me I'm dying or something is wrong. Can anyone relate? I also just recently lost three members of my family and COVID definitely isn't helping my fears..

Hi. I also do the gasping think while trying to fall asleep. insomnia has now set in. The only thing i can do to sleep is use pills. Dont like pills but I need sleep. I now have a stye in my eye. Its due to all the stress of anxiety. I wish I had a solution for you.
