Fed up

Been on the tablets for 4 weeks and have only lost 9 measly pounds. Quite disappointed. I thought it was supposed to speed up the weight loss.  Have really worked hard to stick to the rules, haven't cheated and have had no horrible side effects. I know that 9 pounds is better off than on but when I see and hear of others weight loss,  I'm frustrated that it doesn't seem to be happening a wee bit faster for me. I do have much more energy these days and clothes are getting looser. Just a bit cheesed off.

I think you're being too harsh on you and very anxious and that is not good. It's a very good loss and i think you should be proud. As long as you keep loosing you should be happy. Some people loose quicker than others. Just don't give up. Maybe you'll see better results next time. Don't let the anxiety beat you up. Good luck. X

    Hi,

that's great weightloss, 2lb a week is fantastic! in 4 months you could have lost around 32lb, we need to look at the bigger picture sometimes, ive lost 16 in 6 weeks, more than some not as much as others but the point is i've lost consistently, before the tablets I would loose 6 gain 4 loose 2 gain 3, you get my point. The past 6 weeks have been an  eye opener for me, my attitudes have changed and I feel great. I just need to start exercising now. keep up the good work, this forum is for help and support not to make people feel fed up, celebrate what you have lost you're doing great!

    love kate xx

I found that some weeks I didn't loose much and then I'd have a good loss. X

Slowly slowly catch a monkey I think the slower it comes off the more likely you are to keep it off just stick at it you'll get to where you want to be soon enough Rome wasn't built in a day n neither did our weights they say 2lb a week is a healthy loss!!!

Ive had similar results (had 3st to loose) the way I see it. If it comes off slowly your more likely to keep it off and less likely to have saggy skin.

keep it up and remember its also about holistic health not just weight, your feeling better, your starting to think about exercise etc. I expect your cholesterol and blood pressure has improved.

Im now in my 2nd month and expecting it to slow down a bit but if I can loose 1-2lbs a week, that means by my holiday I will be (9wks) 9-18lbs lighter and nearer my 11st goal

    Keep positive

You're right Husky lover it is the holistic thing. My cholesterol gets checked next month and I'm hoping it comes down quite considerably. Blood pressure too. You're doing well and your goal is in sight. I have about 8 stone to lose which is why I would have liked it to come off a bit quicker at the moment. I truly hope mines doesn't slow down in the second month or my losses will be non existent. Am not going to weigh myself every week now and will certainly move my weighing day from the weekend as it puts me on a downer for the whole weekend!! I need to just remember hat I am feeling better, clothes are a bit looser and some people have commented on my weight loss. Good luck to you and thanks for your advice. People on this forum are very helpful and I very much appreciate it.x

A loss is very much better than a gain so I would congratulate yourself on losing over half a stone! I do know how you feel as I want to lose my weight NOW but you have to persevere!!  Stick with it and don't compare yourself to other people - we all lose weight at our own speed xx

I think that's a great result, I'd be delighted with that.  I have under active thyroid and loosing weight is so slow cos of metabolism.  You are doing so well!
