    Hi Gillian,

I've found the best underwear for me is granny pants when I'm having a flare up, the high waisted kind with long legs that look like shorts if you know the kind I mean. I can pull them down a little so they don't rub but don't fall down either. I bought a size bigger too so they're a bit looser.

I don't wear tights at all and I stick to long skirts and dresses or loose fitting trousers. You could try stockings if you don't like going bare legged.

Make sure your steroid creams aren't too strong either as my doctor told me the strength of the cream is doubled where skin touches skin and this can actually make the soreness worse.

    Hope this helps.

if i am itching badly i will wear my softest cotton pj's; and t shirt nothing tight. no bra. no jewelry. that seem to be the best for my skin. I know this is not possible on work days but try to find loose fitting and light materials to wear, I hope this helps.
