Feel a mass inside anus after hemorrhoidectomy - swelling? Or is it still there?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently exactly 2 weeks post-op after having 2 internal hems removed - one was small and the other would swell up and down and get to a painfully large size. The first week of recovery was extremely rough but I have been feeling better this second week, except I can feel like a lump or something inside my anus??? It's definitely not on the outside because I've looked lol, but I can feel it when sitting down and walking around, even lying down I know something is there.

The last time I had a look nothing was on the outside but when I sort of opened up to see better it looks like the inside is super swollen. Is it just post-op swelling or am I still hemmed up???? Just wanna know if anyone else has experienced this or knows what's up. It's not sore or anything, sometimes a little tingly but I put that down to healing.

    i have a similar lump. i went to see my doctore who said it is post op swelling and this will subside. it almost feels like i have poop stuck in my anus. i am 7 days post laser surgery. i never feel done after poop as it still stays out like when youre in the middle of it. but you just have to shut shop. i hope this settles. this is very very unconfortable. i had grade two internal and external hemorrhoids and a deep fissure.

    how are you doing now? since youre a few weeks done already? did you also have a laser surgery?
