Feel confused about where I belong? And it's sometimes very upsetting

Hey guys
I hope you are all well.
I don't know of this is the right forum but couldn't find anything else relsted so please excuse me hehe.
I am a 26 year old guy and am half British half Egyptian. Over the years I love different aspects of both countries but I have came to notice how I am becoming quite confused and have a feeling of not belonging in either.
This is a feeling I have struggled with ever since I was younger having lived in Egypt for the first 15 years and the rest in the UK. During this time I had the sense both sides from both countries don't treat me as the opposite nationality and it hurts as it makes me feel lost.
When I am in Egypt my friends in me but you know when you feel others are sympathetic u r not the national so it's underlying feeling that's what I mean.
In reverse when I'm in the UK and that's where I live, even though I feel British on some/many times I don't feel accepted as being British.
How can I overcome all this confusion as deep down I have an attachment with both it's hard to explain.

Hello,
I wish I could help you...but I can not relate to your problem. I have lived in the same Country my whole life.
What I do hope for you....is that you will be able to just know who YOU are as a human being! When you become confident as your own person...with your own unique talents, gifts and weakness...I think those things won't matter to you as much.
Though I haven't experienced what you have, I can tell you being in your 20's is a difficult time because it is still an age where most everyone is still trying to figure out where they belong in life.
It is a common thing. As a woman in my 50's, I am so glad that I am not in my 20's!
I hope you focus more on WHO you are as a person rather than where you fit in as far as a Country. And I hope you can find friends that you can tell them these things. Good friends won't see you as a person from a Country...but they will look at the qualities of the person that you are!
Sorry I can not help you more. I can only say it is most important that you be a good person...and focus on that...and be confident in that.
