i suffer from health anxiety and been to the ER numerous times from chest pain, headache to abdominal pain in all i have had about 11 ct scans in two years most recent being for abdominal issues and for my brain in sept.
i have been having an issue where i am feeling im swaying and when leaning forward feel it more like if i will faint and pass out and feel a pressure in head and also feel a tension in my neck and my vision feels like its vibrating.
i am worried now if all this radiation with dental xray and several chest xrays could give me a brain tumor and its causing these symptoms i had a mri for my neck and it show stenosis in my neck at some areas but doctor said no issue and he thinks its all anxiety i also had a brain mri two years ago but it was just for headaches none of this , i just feel like i will faint and pass out along with tremoring in neck and pain feel like i am swaying and shaky vision anyone with anxiety experience this

i’m sorry you are going through this time. Stress and anxiety can cause all of your symptoms. I have had all of those myself from years of stress and anxiety. When you get the vibrating feeling in your vision that can also be related to anxiety. I have had that many times and all my testing is normal. anxiety can cause a vibration feeling anywhere on the body as I have had it in my legs, eyes, head. I get the pressure in my head a lot and I also have had that swaying feeling . ALL from anxiety and stress. Any sensations related to anxiety and stress will not hurt you.
were your ct tests all normal?
i would suggest to you that if your testing was all normal, start working on reducing anxiety and stress in your life as much as you can. Do things to relax your mind. I listen to relaxing meditations on YouTube that are for anxiety. They really help to relax my entire body and mind. The worst thing you can do is think about this all the time because that will raise the anxiety and continue with the sensations that you get. I find that when I relax my mind, the sensations diminish.
also, if you’re having a hard time relaxing your mind, I would suggest speaking with a counselor who can help you and give you ideas on how to manage your anxiety. You can even do it virtually at home! I hope this helps a little bit and I do hope you feel better soon.

My last ct scan was in sept last year and it was normal but was done none contrast , i had two more the year before. I also had a abdominal issue and had the 6 ct scans.
so i have had like 12 ct scans plus chest xrays and dental xray some of them i had because i was concerned about the symptoms in the last two years i had all those scans.
Now i am worried if all this radiation exposure could suddenly give me a brain tumor now and this is causing all the pressure feeling and unbalanced feeling.
My doctor told me its anxiety but the unbalanced feeling and neck issues plus vision issues and headache scares and im worried if its the radiation exposure and panic.

Hi,
Your symptoms sound very similar to mine, have had Neuro and MRI scan - all came back clear and was prescribed meds for anxiety. Unfortunately, these do not appear to have much effect on me - at the end of a bad day my head feels like soup....

the ct scans will not give you sudden cancer. the tension in the neck, The swaying feeling, shaky vision, are all very common symptoms of anxiety. I’ve had all of those many times over!
at this time I would recommend that you work at reducing the anxiety and you should see those sensations improve. Long slow deep breathing, meditation for anxiety, there are many on YouTube., getting some exercise, etc.when I do that I feel much better. don’t overthink things because that makes everything worse. Keep yourself busy and active. You can always talk to a counselor if you need to. Have a great day!

Hello Tom.
this all really sound like anxiety to me.
I have to ask, when you mention neck tremors what do you mean more precise? I am asking because I have weird tremors as well, not only in neck but those bother me the most.
regards,
