Feel like I have poor circulation??!

Since I stopped smoking 16 days ago, I've noticed more then ever It feels like I have really poor circulation much more then the 9 years I spent smoking. I'm a 27 year old pretty healthy female. Never have had any health problems or diseases. Only thing I suffer from is GAD. Since I quit smoking my legs feel heavy. After sitting for a few hours with minimal quick potty breaks, I kept getting this shock like jolt just below the cap of my knee and earlier my right pinky and ring finger as long as hand felt tingly and numb. I just don't get it . I thought quitting would improve my circulation but it feels much different. Anyone experience the same should I bexpect worried? What do I do?

Easy test press your finger on your leg above your ankle should turn

Pink then white shows your circulation in your leg

I would go and see a doctor

Why are you sitting so much?  Get up and move around more.

Hi Tamara - good on you for quitting the nicotine. Since you have smoked for nine years (I wonder how many a day?) there will be quite an adjustment your body will have to make being starved of cigarettes. I would not panic. If you are sitting for long periods, there could be something in that. If the problem persists then see your doctor. Wishing you the best for remaining ciggie free.

Yes I smoked about 15 to 20 a day and more when drinking out with friends. Even walking around my legs just feel heavy and useless

It will take a while for your body to detox.  Make sure you are drinking enough water, and, PLEASE, get up and move, even if it's just to stand and stretch, every few minutes - not every few hours!
