Feel like im floating and tilting to one side. Anyone else have this?

I feel this weird sensation when i walk on my body like i am floating. it doesnt make sense because i am walking in a straight line. Is this vertigo? Anxiety? A heart problem? I also get heart palpitations and sometimes feel this heavy chest feeling. I feel very tired lately also, even after sleeping about 7 hours. I feel involuntary eye movements at times also. Anyone else? This is such a strange and uncomfortable feeling. I also have TMJ pain for the last month. This has been going on for like a good 2 months now.

This sounds like you maybe have a balance disorder which is a condition that makes you feel unsteady or dizzy, if you are standing, sitting or laying down you may feel as if you are moving, spinning or floating so yeah it could be vertigo , book an appointment with a doctor as he will be able to provide you with some medicine to combat this as my mam has vertigo and shes on medicine for it.

As you have TMJ it may be affecting your inner ear as well and you may be experiencing a problem with balance because of it.

Have you been given exercises for your TMJ or any medication?

All your problems could be caused by anxiety. Do you clench or grind your teeth, especially at night?

i havent done exercises for the TMJ. yes i do clench my teeth i catch myself doing it during the day at times and i wake up sometimes with the pain worse than the night before. i also have more shortness of breath lately

I'm guessing its the anxiety thats making you clench your teeth. That in turn is giving you the TMJ problem and also that is affecting your balance. The shortness of breath may also be due to anxiety. I'm surprised you havent been given anything for the TMJ,exercises or medication. Or have you self diagnosed? If you are in UK do go back to your GP ...you need some relaxation techniques, and advice about all of this.

      Have you considered Yoga?

well i did not self diagnose, my dentist told me i have it. i also feel this cyst like thing under my ear and thats freaking me out also 😦

Yes,its usually the dentist which diagnoses this sort of thing but I am concerned you havent been given any advice re your problems. Did he/she recommend a gum shield which you wear at night? Sounds awful but they are very soft and they do help with TMJ. If your dentist isnt helping,do go to your doctor.,who will look at your problems from a different perspective.

    Hi there,

I had laberynthtitis some years ago and that can give me the feeling of going to the side and my blood tests came back ok but for low b12.

Ask your doctor to check if you have low iron or b12 as these can cause many of the things you describe in my experience.

I will be honest, I cannot remember that far back re shortness of breath but, have had that more recently and i feel taking feroglobin-iron suppliment helped? Also, I have a milk intolerance and found that a certain brand of chocolate, even though dark, would make me m

wheezy and short of breath? so I stopped eating it. also, certain chemicals can have that affect too for me.
