Feel the need to burp but cant

started last night stomach feels odd feel the need to burp but can’t. Maybe there is no gas or air in stomach but the urge to burp and discomfort is there. Anyone else experience this and anything I can take? Only thing I ate last night was a simple sandwich. Nothing else

    I used to suffer form feeing of trspped gas in chest (even had all sorts of tests done to rule out heart and cardiovascular problems) Was put on ppis for 3 months, this started the ability to burp. now am off ppis  still get the recurrence of trapped gas in chest pain. As soon as this starts to happen I walk around and and burp and this tends to stop it from progressing to full on chest pains
