Feeling as though I have food trapped where tonsils are (were) and keep swalowing

I have a small hiatus hernia and get acid reflux so have been taking Omezphrole for about 2 years now and it keeps it more of less under control. I am used to having a sore throat if it flares up and of course reflux but have recently experienced a new sensation, Initially thought i had some food trapped under my tongue more of less where the tonsils would be but this has been going on for a few weeks now, Is this another symptom?

    It's probably another symptom. Considering you get sore throat during flare ups, it could mean that acid reaches your mouth too and potentially causes that. But you should check with your doctor to be sure!
