Feeling better, than worse?

Hello everybody,

I started Sertraline 4 weeks ago at 25 mg for GAD because it got pretty servere.

The first 2/3 weeks I've felt really good (almost instantly), my depressive thoughts diminished and my anxiety (constant flight or fight mode), was a lot better! The side affects were minimum (dry mouth, tired)

But since 5 days or so my anxiety is creeping back in, I still feel quit happy (like 3 weeks ago) but I'm just so afraid now that this medice is not for me and I will feel like sh*t again.

My boyfriend had a 3 week holiday just when I started using Sertraline, so now I'm thinking that I just felt better because he was around me all the time (distraction). I'm a stay at home mum, so I spend a lot off time alone with my 1 year old, and don't have a lot of distraction during the day.

I'm hoping to up my dose in 2 week to 50 mg. (doc is on holiday).

Did anybody else experience this? Did it get better? Is there hope for me?
