Feeling cold in warm room

Posted , 2 users are following.

I'm a 61 year year old chap and had hip replacement 8 weeks ago and doing well.

However seems I'm anaemic and just begun use of iron tablets.

Is this feeling cold in a warm room a symptom that anyone else has had.

Doctors are perplexed.

I was on low dose co-codamol for three years till about two weeks ago and now only occasional ibuprofen (I stopped the cocodamol suddenly as soon as pain went.

Thanks for help

Don't know why doctors are perplexed! That's definite a symptom of being anemic. I've had it when I was anemic and anyone u know. You'll be fine once the iron tablets kick in.

    Take care x

      That's great thanks.

I'm taking two iron tablets a day.

How long do you think it might  take them to work?

It took me a couple of weeks but I was also very low on b12 and vitamin d so felt awful anyway. Did u get b12 and vitamin d checked? Eat ur rich foods too and take the iron tablets with orange juice as it helps iron absorb better. Don't drink milk with it or tea x
