Feeling cold - withdrawal symptom?

Posted , 3 users are following.

i was on 8/500 cocodamol (8 a day) for three years until hip replacement eight weeks ago.

Pain down to virtually nil five weeks ago so I stopped  Cocodamol.

Only take an occasional paracetamol or ibuprofen if leg aches now.

However I have had  this cold feeling in lower back and chest since stopping cocodamol.

Is this a withdrawal symptom? How long till it goes away?

    Thanks for that Debs.

I did meet a lady who had two hip replacements and eventually came off cocodamol by gradual reduction with gradual shift to paracetamol.

Hope that all goes well for you

    Hi Norman

Yeah it is withdrawals by the sounds of it normally the physical symptoms would wear off after a few days but I would advise speaking to your GP.
